1949  Ford  F2 3/4 ton full restoration  
PRICE REDUCED! This gorgeous 49 Ford F-2 ¾ ton pickup has its original numbers matching solid Flathead V-8 engine with 50,755 miles. This beauty was restored to be a parade truck and at that time the engine and transmission were completely rebuilt. 1500 parade and show miles have been put on it over the last 11 years where it has been stored in a climate controlled environment. During that time this classic Ford pickup participated in local parades all through out the proud state of Iowa. The original 6 volt system is still intact and functioning perfectly with a new battery in place. The original oil bath was replaced with an aftermarket air cleaner and was dressed with an aftermarket chrome kit. The engine was fitted for an oil filter that is not currently installed but can be installed within minutes and is included with the purchase. The new gas tank and sending unit were recently installed and show great. The aftermarket turn signals were tastefully added and compliment the truck nicely as does the dual exhaust system with chrome tips. The bumpers were replaced with NOS and were freshly painted along with the running boards. The bed rails are a show quality solid oak and the side boards are solid cherry with oak posts. This all steel 1949 F-2 is rust and filler free with the few imperfections coming from the normal use of the tail gate. Everything on this classic is working properly except the horn which is intact but will need refurbishing. The braking system has all new hubs and cylinders working with the original re-lined 1949 brake shoes. You will be hard pressed to find another 49 F-2 in this condition. Make no mistake this is a strong running Iowa farm truck that is museum worthy and would be a proud addition to any classic collection.
