Hello All. I'm selling my Dad's old Ford pick up for him. She's a beauty but she's been sitting for almost 3 years now with a clutch (and $$) problem. We're going over her now though and doing some motor work too because of how long she's sat (carb clean up mostly). This was a frame off restoration about 10 years ago by a friend of my dad's who's now passed on. We have a ton of the maintenance records though to show it's condition. I brought the paint right back to life over the weekend. The motor was rebuilt too and she has under 5K on it now!! I'm not a Ford guy but here's what I know.
It's got the 360 cid (which I'm being told had work on it to be a 352??), 4x2, 3/4 ton, long bed, paint matched camper shell, 96,xxx original miles, and wood racks to go with it. The body and paint is terrific with no rust. There are some typical paint chips and scratches around the bed rails. My dad is the 3rd owner and the 2nd owner was the person who restored it. If you know Ford's, and can do the clutch work yourself, this truck is for you. We'll have the motor back to runnin like a top before we sell her. I don't believe we're going to be able to scratch the $$ together to have the clutch fixed.
I've looked at a ton of guides and other trucks around this same year and condition, and I know my price tag reflects the work that needs to be done to the clutch. I think if we did the work we could easily ask for close to $9,000 because of how good she still looks and runs with the mileage. Shoot me an offer though and let's talk. We're in Northern California, in the foothills. Hope to talk to ya soon. Have a great daySOLD |
