1978 Ford F250 

1979 Ford F-250 Custom 4x4: This is a clean old pickup. I bought it from the second owner who had owned it from 1981-2017. He was the local pharmacist for most of that time, and had an old time drug store/icecream store. The pickup is mostly stock from what I can see. It only has one spot of rust on the whole truck. No other rust. A picture of that spot is included, and it's an easy repair behind one of the rear wheels. The pickup has been painted once. In the original color, and done 20-30 years ago. A little filler is showing on the hood. No other filler that I can see anywhere and if there was any it should be showing. I have a depth gauge though that I'll be checking the body out with. 351m V8 with 4-speed. Transmission and transfer case work fine. The truck runs but smokes. It could be worn valve guides or it could be the rings, not sure. It starts up and runs fine but smokes blue. It goes away some when warm but still smokes. I am going to get it out on the highway and run it some. I have a 1969 skylark that smokes every year when I get it out. After the first drive, it stops smoking for the rest of the summer and doesn't smoke again until coming out of storage the next year. Weird, I know. I can help arrange shipping also if that's needed.
