1965  Ford  Fairlane  500
In 1965 Ford moved out of the mid-sized market with the Fairlane 500. Styling features for the 65 included body colored headlight bezels for the deluxe models, rectangular taillight lenses, a return to the 62 - 63 trunk lid along with less chrome on the body and a small stand up hood ornament. All 65 models featured 14” wheels in place of the earlier 13” wheels. This classic beauty was repainted approximately 2 years ago in its original color of Twilight Turquoise which shows like new. This car has 61,441original miles on its numbers matching 200 ci V6 engine. The engine runs perfectly and is mated to a smooth shifting 3 speed manual (3 on the tree). The interior is completely original except for an aftermarket cruise control which was added in the 70’s, a CD player mounted under the dash and custom seat covers in the cars original color of Aqua.
