1978  Ford  Fairmont  Futura
This car is pretty much mint, I bought it from a 90 year old couple who were the original owners (I have a copy of the original check). The car has been well maintained over the past 29 years and I have records for almost every oil change, engine service, and lube job since the late seventies. Everything is stock in this car except the recently replaced exhaust system. The exterior is in excellent condition for a car this old, with a few minor rust spots that simply need to be sanded and repainted by somebody who knows what they're doing. The paint is original, the underside isn't rotted out, the glass is all original, even the AM radio works. The bench seats are in good shape, there is a rip on the driver side that needs to be sewn. The headliner is spotless, the tires are in good shape, all the lights work, the trunk is huge, and the carpet is clean. I tuned the engine at my shop when I purchased the car and to tell the truth all that needed adjusting was the high idle. I'm actually more than happy to continue driving the car for the next few years but I figured I'd post an ad anyways.
