Vehicle Description

This is a superb example of the Police Interceptor (style) 4 door sedans of the era. It has a FRESH Blueprinted 410 cubic inch (390 block+428 crank) big block FE. Intake is Edelbrock Performer with Holley Street Avenger carb. Exhaust is new 2.5" with Flowmaster mufflers. Radiator is new with billet aluminum overflow tank. There is 99K miles on the car (when listed) but I drive it about 2-3 days per week. I built this vehicle for myself but now at 60 I must sell it to buy a new Harley. I am a retired Certified Master Auto Technician (A.S.E.) with over 40 years experience working on vehicles of all types. (see "about me" page). This piece is STRONG! It is DEPENDABLE! And it is FUN!

The paint is NEW Silver Blue base coat with a Platinum Pearl clear coat + top clear coat (3 stage), and is perfect! Vehicle has NO rust. NEW chrome alloy wheels with NEW 245/45-18 (rear) and 235/40-18 (front) tires. All tires are "Z" rated.

The interior has just been completed and is done in factory color and style of the era. New headliner, dash, seats, glove box liner, sun visors and rear package tray. Windows have been tinted in a matching light blue silver metallic film.

The transmission is a heavy duty C6 automatic with brass clutches and all new internal seals, annular rings, drums, apply pistons, shift improver kit, modulator....ect.

Driveshaft is new as are the universal joints front and rear. Rear differential is the "bullet proof" ford 9" with 3.00:1 gears. All new bearings and seals.

All electrics work and have been brought up to modern specs. Doors close like new and a single key fits all locks. Original AM radio works perfectly and door panels are unmolested by shoddy stereo installations. All doors and windows open and close like new and have been disassembled, cleaned and lubricated. Trunk carpeting, spare tire and jack assembly are like new as is the spare tire cover. All service records and original warranty cards, etc are intact and as supplied from the dealer/factory. Factory air conditioning works perfectly and has new compressor, filter/dryer and R134 conversion.

Vehicle was originally bought in Artesia California from "Pioneer Ford" (DSO71) by Analtha M. Applebury on 8-31-66. It was purchased from her in 1997 with 78000 miles.

I have total insurance coverage from Hagerty for $142. per year! ($15000.00 no deductable) stated value. So insurance is extremely low for this ride.

I would feel completely confident to drive it anywhere. It needs nothing. It is 100% road worthy and beautiful! I will warranty vehicle for 30 days for any powertrain failures.
