Up for sale is my 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 XL 2-Door Hard Top. I bought this about 4 years ago just as you see it. it had been hiding for 20+ years in a garage. has only been sitting outside for the last 4 years. has only 42,000 orignal miles on it. put a battery in it and it will fire right up!. has no exhaust system. would need all lines and hoses gone through due to it's age.
this is a "bare-bones" 500 XL. has a 260 V-8, automatic trans, no power steering,no power brakes, and a bench seat.
Body : has light surface rust in areas. some minor dents here and there. roof has a lot of small dents though. has grille, headlights, headlight trim and bumpers (all are currently off of car). the upper XL side body chrome mouldings ARE missing. most all other trim is still here. floors are solid. rockers are solid. the entire trunk floor, interior floor, and underside of the car has been restored and coated in POR-15. (seen in photos) i also have a brand new windshield for it. (current windshield is broken).
Interior : Black interior with white headliner. headliner is in perfect shape. needs sun-visors. front and back bench seats are in excellent original shape. missing both left and right side front door panels, and has no carpet in it.
Frame is in great shape. has NO frame rot.
Would make a great candidate for a mild custom. already has 2 inch lowering blocks in the rear, and a pair of front coil springs with a round and a half cut out of them that have NOT been installed yet.
Car was last registered in 1984. currently has NO title for it. but I DO have it's last registration from 1984. sold on bill of sale ONLY.
