Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present a pristine 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL Convertible. No expense was spared during the restoration of this 64' Galaxie. Take one look at the chrome and other shiny pieces and you will know not one piece was passed over. Options on this 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL Convertible include: AM Radio, Automatic Convertible Top, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Chrome American Racing Torque Thrust Wheel, and Radial Tires. Finished in triple black, with loads of chrome all over, this Galaxie has traveled only 83 miles since its completed restoration. Drop the top and the brand new interior makes its presence felt with authority, with a little help from Jack Roush's signature on the glove box. Behind the new American Racing wheels are brand new disc brakes up front and drum brakes in the rear. These new brakes will help control the power of what is hidden under the hood.
Open that hood, chrome and polished metal immediately take your attention, then you see the Roush air cleaner and valve covers, your first hint of something special. It started as a 390 CID, but after Roush was done it became a 402 CID Ford Iron Block FE engine. Ford cast crankshaft regrounded -.020
