1963.5 Ford Galaxie Fastback

It’s rare to find a fifty year old classic car that has belonged to the same immediate family since purchased new but this 1963 Galaxie 500 is one of those cars!! Obviously from the looks and condition of the car it was a family treasure and spent most of its life inside, with only 96,326 actual miles. It must have been only driven on special occasions.
This Galaxie is mostly just as it was when it came from the factory and with only one repaint, which is very slick and very nice. The interior is original and factory in very good condition. It has no torn spots, rips or tears, but just slight wear for good patina. The dash and its trim are very nice and still maintain the factory radio in place to make the dash look completely original. The keys are on the original dealer key ring and lots of original paperwork accompanies the car. The trunk still has the B.F. Goodrich Silverton Rayon spare and jack as it came. All glass and bright work is very nice.
Wheels are aluminum with spinners and tires are new B.F.Goodrich T/A Radials 255/70/15 on all corners. The Galaxie is a “Z Code” 390 CI engine, 4 barrel carburetor and maintains its cast iron factory exhaust manifolds. The ignition is upgraded to electronic. Power steering makes the Galaxie a breeze to steer and drive .The engine compartment is very clean and nicely detailed with aluminum intake, chrome valve covers, breathe coil cover and chrome master cylinder cover. The car has purposely been left original underneath with no fresh undercoating or detailing , so one can see how original and rust free this car really is. Don’t let this one get away! It’s hard to find cars this solid!!
