Rare 1977 Ford LTD Landau, strong running 400 engine, with a strong automatic transmission. This car runs very smooth, with lots of power, doesn't burn any oil. The paint on the car is 100% original, and never in an accident. The interior is clean, with no rips, not worn at all. The bottom of the car does have rock chips, not rusted. Would be a great car if the bottom half was blended in to cover the rock chips. One minor ding on the passenger side front door (see pics). The landau top is in excellent condition, and the paint is also in nice condition, not faded.
It has been said that you can restore a car a thousand times, but it is only original once. If you have ever attempted to restore a car to concours level, you have experienced the many challenges to replicate the original assembly line techniques and details. It's difficult enough just to find a car to use as a restoration reference guide. This is one of those rare 100% original cars. |
