1972 Gold Maverick 2-door. Special order 302 v8 dual carberator small block. Built right in Portland IN. Gets excellant gas miliage. You don't see these cars around very often in this good of condition. I am the third owner. I bought it from a man whose Mother owned it and just drove it around town. It has 40,000 miles on it. The title says it's not original, however I have not seen any paperwork that says it is rebuilt. Even in the Winter if it has been sitting, it will start right up no problem. I have done quite a bit of restoration to this car.
brand new spark plugs and wires.
2 year old paint job ($3500. Original Color code Paint)
4 new valve stems
All new suspenssion ( Tie rods Shocks and struts, U-joint, Idler arm Etc.)
The trunk has been sanded and repainted.
Things that do need done:
Needs a new heater core. (it does let in some moisture, but nothing damaging.)
Has a few small tears in the driver side front seat. ( Right on the seams. the biggest is under the back of the same seat.)
Has one dent in each door. ( Could be popped out easy. One has very tiny rust spot on it)
Needs new brakes. (It is drivable, however they will need replaced soon)
One small crack in dash (From cold)
Needs original gas cap ( Mine got stollen. It has a locking one on it now)
Has seat belts, but need put back up
Has rearview mirror frame, but no glass.
Has a Mustang Steering wheel (Maverick Steering wheels are easy to find)
Selling to pay bills, and I do not have a place to store the car.
Please email if interested, feel free to ask any question I am completely honest. And will be willing to send detailed pictures of the miner imperfections.
