For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a completely custom 1929 Ford Model A Sedan. Keeping the Street Rod world alive this Model A is a treat for the eyes. What could bring back the nostalgia of the cruise ins better than a Model A Street Rod? The deep black paint and custom pinstriping of this car will turn heads wherever it goes. With an all steel body the desirability factor is turned up to 11, the panels were massaged to a smooth surface before the paint was applied.
A 350 CID engine has been used as the power plant and a TH350 transmission was used to change gears. The builder installed chrome baffled side pipes for visual and aural appeal and aides in completing the proper Street Rod look. A 3:55 ratio gear was installed into the 8 inch Ford rear differential housing to balance acceleration and cruising speed. Front disc brakes were installed to prevent speeding tickets and coilover shock absorbers were installed to control the bumps in the road. A staggered set of American Racing Torq Thrust Wheels wrapped in Cooper rubber keep it rolling.
Don’t worry, the interior wasn’t left out. A leather grained beige vinyl was applied to the doors, seats, and dash to give it the needed driving comfort and a great color contrast. Pete and Jakes gauges were used to monitor the vehicles vitals and a Lokar shifter was installed to control the gears.
