I am sure that I am leaving out a lot of items but I put down most of the expensive restoration items to give you an idea that no expense was spared when restoring this beauty.
The car spent most of its life in Texas and that is why it retains all of its original body panels and floors. She was rust free before the restoration was started. It sat from 1984 until 2007 and that is why the body the car is in such great condition. Since then the car has undergone a total restoration until being completed this year.
The body work, engine build, transmission and interior were all done by professional shops with excellent reputations for their workmanship. Car was recently appraised by Sterling Restorations
who is a certified antique/classic appraiser and a member of the International Automotive Appraisers Association and valued at $39,000.
The interior has been re-upholstered by professional Upholstery with new carpet, seats and headliner.
The dash is original and all the gauges work.
I have the original intake, carburetor and air cleaner and they go with the car. I also have a California car cover and it goes with the car.
The block and heads were stripped, boiled and crack tested. The block was bored .60 over. Engine block, crank, cam, pistons, rings, heads, valves and springs were all cryo treated for high performance and longer life. Block, heads, valve covers, air cleaner and exhaust manifolds are powder coated. All electrical components are new.
As you can see from the pictures, the car is amazing and will make any Pony lover proud to own her and show her off. This was the first year of the Mustang, so to own a 65 Fastback with ice cold air conditioning would be awesome. The car needs absolutely nothing and can be driven anywhere with NO problems. .
