Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer one bad to the bone 2008 For Mustang Shelby GT500. This car may appear fairly stock on the outside, but is far from it. It started at a plain 500 HP Shelby GT500, which would've been a fun car as is, but now it's been reworked to put out 727 at the flywheel and 618 at the rear wheels. The engine has been pulled and all moving parts polished, surfaced, and balanced. It is a Cobra Jet cast iron 5.4L block with a Cobra Jet crankshaft which has been polished and balanced. It has a Mahle PowerPak piston and ring set, and Manley steel H-Beam connecting rods. It has ported and polished GT40 head, polished valves, Clevite bearings, ARP bolts and studs, and Fel Pro performance gaskets. Sitting on top is a 2014 2.3 TVS Supercharger (internally polished) and VMP 2.5 supercharger pulley. Supplying the fuel is Aeromotive fuel rails, Deatsch Werks 72lbs injectors, and dual Aeromotive 340 fuel pumps. The engine breaths through Steeda cold air induction and Kooks long tube headers with stainless mid-pipe and Flow Master 40 exhaust. This engine has only about 250 miles since being assembled. Power is delivered through a McLeod RXT Twin Clutch to the Tremec T-56 and an aluminum one piece drive shaft. Bringing it all to a halt is 2014 Brembo 6 piston 15
