For sale in our Chicago showroom is a rare Teal 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra. This is one rare and clean example of a low mileage survivor that is sure to turn some heads. Of the 5,100 Cobras built in 1993 only 368 were made in Teal Metallic with gray cloth interior. There was only a short list of options for the Cobra including rear window defroster and power driver seat which are present on this car. By 1993 the 5.0 Liter V8 was producing just over 200 horsepower but Dearborn's new Special Vehicle Team (SVT) produced a higher-output Cobra 302 that produced 235 horsepower via special GT40 heads, a tuned-runner intake manifold and revised cam. This Teal Pony is a blast to drive and was able to achieve 0-60 in 5.9 seconds. The Hurst short throw shifter makes shifting quick and precise and get those 7-spoke Cobra wheels moving in no time. With only 368 produced over 20 years ago it will be hard to find another Teal Cobra like this is one with anywhere near the same mileage and level of meticulous maintenance. Also included with this vehicle is a cloth Cobra car cover to keep it neat and clean. Everything has checked out to be in fine working order including the cold air conditioning. A K&N Filter and aluminum radiator finish out the engine compartment and this thing is ready to impress the future generation.
