1966 Ford Mustang 

Up for sale in our Houston showroom is a 1966 Ford Mustang. Want to talk about a pretty pony, no matter where you goes heads will turn. In 1966 Ford was looking for way to cut development cost to reach a suggested selling of 2,368 dollars. So the mustang was based on components that were familiar and simple due to the fact that they were already in production for other Ford models. Almost all of the interior, chassis, suspension and drivetrain pieces were taken from those used on the Ford Falcon and Fairlane. This use of sharing pieces also shortened the learning curve for the assembly and repair workers, while at the same time allowing dealers to pick up the Mustang without also having to spend massive amounts of money on spare parts to support the new car line. With this simple change consumers were able to achieve the fun, durable and powerful mustang we know today. This particular Mustang only has 2,500 miles since it was rebuilt. This stang has a 302 CID v-8 under its hood that is assisted by a 3 speed c4 automatic transmission. It has a rich red color exterior with a clean black vinyl interior.
