1966 Ford Mustang

Description: This is a collector car that would be used as an occasional driver. Assuming normal market conditions this car should increase in value if properly maintained. This is an A-Code Car with the original 289 Four Barrel Engine. (Automatic Transmission, Pony Interior, Factory Air, Original Wire Spinner Hub Caps.)

History: This vehicle was originally purchased by the first owner September 7, 1966 from Grant Motor Company in St. Petersburg Florida. The Second owner was a resident of Quinlan Texas who owned a mechanics shop. He blueprinted the original engine and stored the car for close to twenty years planning on repainting and restoring the car for his wife. Rodney Shows of Hodge LA bought the vehicle in April of 2007. Shows’ is a collector Car Broker and sold the vehicle to me in August of 2007. Under my ownership the car has been completely stripped down and repainted to the original color Dessert Beige. The Transmission, under my ownership, was completely rebuilt due to leaking seals from the car being stored for so many years. Under my ownership I have installed all new pony interior. This car did not and does not have any issue with rust that needed repairs. This is a low mileage car that has been driven less than 1200 miles in the last 20 plus years. I have the original owner’s manual still with the car. The Odometer reading is less than 18,000 miles and I believe this is the original miles. (There is hardly any wear on the original accelerator or brake pedal)
