1968 Ford Mustang -California Special

This is a very well restored limited production 1968 GT/California Special Mustang coupe. All 3,867 California Specials were coupes, no convertibles or fastbacks were ever produced. The body modifications resemble the Shelby mustang, the hood has integral turn signals and competition style locks, a fiberglass trunk lid with a molded-in spoiler, special non-functional side air ducts, 66 Thunderbird tail lights, pop off gas cap, body decals and unique California script emblems. Any available engine was available. This car has the optional 195hp 289ci. V8 engine with an automatic transmission. The car has been nicely restored and detailed, the paint is beautiful, and the engine compartment is spotless and nicely detailed. It is basically stock with the exception of the ceramic coated Hooker headers and Flowmaster exhaust system which gives it a great sound. You very seldom come across these California Specials and this one will definitely get attention at any car show.
