| Fresh from being a contender for the "Ridler" award at the 2012 Detroit Autorama is this outstanding brand new all steel 1932 Ford roadster built with an emphasis on detail. This nostalgic hot rod appears to be from the 50’s, the flawless black body with full fenders and the frame are from Dearborn Deuce, it has just the right stance with a Pete & Jakes 4” dropped I-beam front axle with polished finned brake drums and vintage Halibrand aluminum “Sprint” wheels. The 1953 Ford 8BA 264 cubic inch Flathead has all of the trick parts from the era, Edelbrock polished aluminum heads and intake manifold with twin Stromberg 97’s, Isky cam, ceramic coated Fenton headers and dual point distributor. The interior is done in red leather, the Classic Instrument Vintage gauges are set in a 1940 Ford dash board, the steering wheel is an original 1937 Ford “banjo” wheel, a Pioneer stereo system with iPod compatibility, and the classic shifter controls a Ford C4 automatic transmission. |
