After having undergone an expensive professional restoration this car is back to new condition and completely original with the exception of the AM/FM cassette that perfectly fit the original location of the radio. The radio has the Thunderbird emblem in the face of the radio.
The Ford-O-Matic transmission is linked to the correct 292 C.I engine. The engine is beautifully detailed with the factory dress up kit that includes the chrome air cleaner / special finned aluminum valve covers and the correct red color engine paint. The engine compartment looks brand new even down to the original “see clear” solvent bag.
Underneath the car looks brand new also with the stainless exhaust system that exits through the rear bumper guards correctly. Fuel lines, brake lines, gas tank and many other parts, all new. The trunk is as nice as the rest of the car with the correct rubber mat and full size wide white wall tire.
The interior is new everywhere you look including seats, dash, dash trim, carpet, gauges, door panels and even the soft top which stows neatly behind the seats.
The body is straight and slick with beautiful white paint. Chrome and other trim are exceptional. The Thunderbird wire spoke wheels with spinners, and wide white wall tires with fender skirts make this a very classy looking automobile.
