Pedigree Motorcars is proud to offer this beautiful 1985 Jaguar XJ6. This Glacier White with Biscuit leather example has only 35,000 miles. For information on this beautiful Jaguar, contact Ken Baker at 561-866-1601.

At Pedigree Motorcars, we are always searching for the finest and affordable collectible cars. Some cars however, fall off the radar because very few of them are left and they get forgotten about. Such is the case with the Series III XJ6. Most of these cars are old, worn-out, and beyond salvage. The cost to restore them is 10 to 20 times they're given value in the state that they are currently in. Rarely does one surface that is preserved as well as this one.

This highly original example has been sparingly used in the past 20 years. It is a 35,000 mile car looks as impressive in person as it does in pictures. It's Carfax confirms that it has very rarely been used. As a result it was in need of extensive maintenance to make it a safe and reliable daily driver.

As with all of our Jaguars, we sent this car to the Jaguar Doctor in Boca Raton, Florida for a thorough inspection and service. Nearly $10,000 was spent to bring everything up-to-date. This is one of the finest driving XJ6 years we have seen, and it can hold up to the toughest scrutiny. To get this car ready for sale we had performed:

Four new Goodyear tires
Remove cylinder head and rebuild including all new valves, intake guides, cam bearings, tensioner kid, refit cylinder head
New belts
New hoses
Replace AC dryer
New AC compressor
Recharge AC system
New radio antenna
New rear brake calipers
New rear brake pads
New rear brake flex line
Change brake fluid
Change oil and filter
Change coolant
New transmission spool
New set of spark plugs
Replace fuel filter
Replace air filter
Two new fuel pick up filters
Replace two window switches
New wiper blades
New pair of horns
New fan clutch
New Thermo plug
Replace air flow meter

From this extensive list, one can tell that we did everything this car needs. We have tested it by driving over 500 miles, and it has proven to be not only enjoyable, but very reliable. This is a Series III that it's new owner can drive daily and would be proud to show.

The inside of this Jaguar is really spectacular. The leather is all original and has never been refinished. It is still soft and supple and close to perfect. The headliner it's tight and there are no cracks on the dash or door panels. As expected, everything in the car works exactly as it should. The previous owner replaced the original Jaguar stereo with a modern Sony unit. The original Jaguar radio is included and it has its original case for the faceplate. The new owner can install it at their discretion. The previous owner also replaced the original steering wheel with a wooden Momo steering wheel. These were a very popular dealer accessory when these cars were new. It has a jaguar horn button, it looks proper in this car. The original leather shift knob was replaced with a wooden one. This was also a Jaguar accessory so it is correct for the car.

Included with the purchase of this car are:

Owner's books including owners manual
Two sets of keys
Floor mats
Carpeted tool roll
Original stereo-not installed
Complete documentation of all the work we had performed
Clean Carfax

This Jaguar is completely turn key. It's new owner will have the confidence that everything has been done on this car that is needed by one of the most experienced Jaguar technicians in the country. Everything was done correctly and no shortcuts were taken. This Jaguar will make its new owner proud.
