1969 Jaguar XKE E-type

Greetings to All!!! im am offering my Gorgeous One of a Kind very Unique Club Concourse 1969 Jaguar E-type (XKE) Series II 4.2 6 cylinder OTS(Open Two Seater) in stunning British Racing Green with Biscuit Leather Interior. Please be patient, as there is a wealth of information below, along with photographs. I apologize for the length, however I have become very attached to this beautiful motorcar.
A bit of trivia.....
There were 7853 Series II LHD Roadsters produced. This one is was produced in August of 1968, this car was first registered in March 1969 in British Columbia, where it spent most of its life. this particular e-type is ONE OF A KIND as it has an externtal boot lock/open button on the rear of the car and is beleived to have left the factory like this, this e-type causes a stir at every Jaguar show, It is one of the early Series 2 cars, so it's more driveable than the Series 1 and 1 1/2's.Also, please note that these Fantastic cars are Rapidly increasing in value!! There have been some examples that have recently sold at famous collector auctions, such as "Barrett-Jackson", and "Kruse" for ENORMOUS amounts of money. This car will be an Excellent investment, and will only appreciate in value,
This particular example is just Magnificent!!! I purchased it from a well know Property Developer based in Toronto Canada in 2005 who had owned it for about a year. I had the e-type shipped down to Florida and registered it here. He told me that the previous owner of the car was a passionate car collector, vintage racer and concours champion, winning the JCNA National Annual award for the best Jaguar XK 120 in 1999. who Sadly passed away, he purchased the car from his family in 2004.

The car has been very well maintained and was restored a few years ago It is equipped with a manual 4 spd Gearbox. The Chrome Wire Wheels with wing knock offs are just Gorgeous, as is the rest of the car.sporting a near fresh BAS Jaguar interior installed by BAS. (they claim to be the best Jaguar interior people around, and charge the most, to prove it) www.basjaguartrim.com Interior is wonderfull,near new top to match as well.and a new Tonneau cover. Nardi Steering wheel Mechanically the car is superb, having had a full engine rebuild, with upgraded connecting rods etc, by a respected shop, with a conversion to the Series 1 triple SU carburetors, a set of headers, and an Ansa exhaust, . The Ansa gives the car a deep, snarly exhaust note which is surely audible but not instrusive The 6 cyl. engine has 150 lbs. compression on all cylinders. During the time i have owned the car i have taken it to many shows winning best interior best import and i recently took to a JCNA jaguar concours show were it won best in class!

I have owned many E-types in the past and non have i enjoyed owning more than this one!!

This is a Wonderful XKE that has had a tremendous amount of love and care put into it. This car draws more attention than almost ANY car on the road today. The XKE is one of the most notable sports cars ever conceived, and is ever increasing in value.
