Price Reduced. The 4.2 liter, twin-cam 6-cylinder engine has three SU carburetors, and a 4-speed manual gearbox. The 4.2 liter engine gives superior performance and was modified to run on readily available leaded gasoline. This XKE has had just three owners, all living in Orlando, FL with no harsh winters. The car was subject to a comprehensive tub-up restoration in 1992 (receipts and pictures of the entire restoration available) and has been garaged since then. This car received a complete professional restoration by a local Jaguar concours judge including new bonnet, new body chrome, complete Bartlett interior in correct hides, new correct top, complete strip and lacquer repaint, and engine and driveline rebuild. The car has just 850 miles on it since completion of the restoration. The current odometer reading is only 73,595 actual miles. It has knock-off chrome wire wheels, safety belts, AM radio, new 205/75 radial tires. Wool carpets, black cloth soft top w/ biscuit boot, spare wire wheel w/ tire and tire jack. Matching numbers: chassis 1E10800, engine number 7E3343-9 and gear box number EJ2408. The car is driven regularly and is a joy on the road. |
