1971 Jaguar XKE SIII

PRICE REDUCED!! 1971 was the first year for the smooth and powerful 5.3L V-12 motor in the Series III XKE. This numbers matching, red, automatic with a one year old respray boasts triple plated show chrome and replacement chrome wire wheels shod with DUNLOP radials. It also has a new Ansa exhaust system, Koni shocks, battery and alternator, front seat hides, carpeting, electric fans, A/C compressor and brakes. The motor as well as the entire car has been thoroughly checked out by a Jaguar specialist, replacing all belts, hoses, and bushings as needed. It performs flawlessly. No leaks, no drips, and it does not burn oil. It has a current PA inspection to 11/02. The car is about 90% restored, needing only a few iitems to be a high #3.These items are: 1.chrome along exterior windshield top, 2.rear speakers. The dash and rear seat are original and in good condition. A box of spare parts comes with the car. The factory A/C is hooked up,but not working. There is a small paint chip on the RF fender, and the grill is a little wavy. For added impact & bonnet protection the front bumpers have XJ6 over-riders. This extremely low mileage coupe has been adult owned and cared for by a Priest (honest!) for the last 16 years with over $20K invested in its preservation. This is a rust free, perfectly running XKE that needs little, and can be driven anywhere.
Vehicle Condition:
No known mechanical problems other than non-working A/C, new compressor installed. Small paint chip on RF fender. Bottom grill louvers a little wavy. Interior pictures do not show recent refurbishing.
