1962 Lincoln Continental |
|
This is a nice original condition 1962 sedan, tan with a light tan leather interior which is still in good condition, including the wood trim, headliner, dash and seats. Driven last year from Seattle, it can be driven anywhere. Starts easily and runs and stops very well. Quiet and elegant. If you have never driven an old Lincoln, you will be surprised how well these large cars handle. And designed so there is no middle hump in the front or rear--a true 6 seater.
No body damage. Does not smoke or leak. Good (but old) tires, new tan carpets (including trunk)after chipping down to bare metal floors (there was no rust on them), repriming and reundercoating. Has power windows, brakes and seats. I have the original hubcaps and hood ornament.
The Lincoln was the highest quality American car of that period. I am asking a bit much for it ($7500 or offer) because it is my favorite antique and I hate to part with it. Whoever buys it will be proud of this vehicle. Stored in San Francisco area. I am currently working in Washington DC will be back out there this summer, or earlier if someone really wants it.
