I bought this car as a restoration job. I've been working on it section by section. I started with the engine, which I replaced with a different '62 430 engine which only has 13,000 miles on it after the rebuild. I then worked on the entire exterior of the car by replacing all rusted areas with new metal, re-chroming all hardware including the grill and bumper, replacing the entire trunk, and giving the whole car a fresh black diamond paint job. I started work on the interior by pulling out the existing carpet and cleaning the car so it's ready for new upholstery.
Unfortunately, this was as far as I was able to get. I'm about to move across country and am unable to take the car with me. This has been a passion project and I'm sorry to have to stop here. I do however want the car to go to someone who will appreciate it as much as I do. I have videos of the car running that I can send to serious buyers. The car also has power windows and seats, heat and A/C.
I am under a tight time constraint to sell the car, so please only contact if you are VERY SERIOUS about buying the car.
