Restorer's Dream 1940 Lincoln Zephyr. 100% original; 99% complete – I’m missing the ashtray.

This drivable 1940 Lincoln Zephyr has been in storage awaiting full restoration for decades. I purchased it 3 years ago and had a new brake system installed in order to drive it to Richmond, Indiana. It has a Columbia Overdrive. The battery is new this year. The interior is original and needs restoration. There is a small dent in the left rear panel, otherwise the body is great. The engine runs well, but uses a little oil (don’t they all?).

I was planning to restore this great possibility, but recently bought a money pit of a home, which will furnish me with decades of projects to occupy my time. I’m not a haggler. All I want to do is get my original investment of $6,000 out of the car.
