1974 Lotus Elite II |

Rare 1974 Lotus Elite II Type 75 Saloon Car. Fiberglass body,j SS trim, 907 aluminum block, 2 liter, 4 cylinder, 16 valve, double overhead camshaft engine, rack and pinion steering, 5 speed manual. Best in Class, All British Field Meet 1994, Best in Class 1991. This is a very good original car with minimal work needed to bring it to excellence. 35,870 original miles. Has been in storage for ten years and will need preparation before starting again. It is on a trailer which will be sold with the car. There is some minor damage to the fiberglass near the left front wheel due to a loading accident, and a narrow SS strip is also missing there. The headlight covers do not remain closed properly and the wiring will need some work to straighten that out. Otherwise this car is in really nice original condition and is fantastic to drive. Only 2535 of these cars were ever made between 1974 and 1982. Little or no rust. |
