1971 MG Midget 1275 CC engine -- ROLLING RESTORATION CONDITION! Located in Attleboro, MA
This classic British sports car is in need of a good home and a loving owner. It's in rolling restoration quality and is being offered with numerous extras such as, an oil cooler set up, extra fuel filters, a new in box soft top, and trickle charger for storage (and more!).
This car is garaged year-round and only taken out for the occasional joy ride during the warm months. It has had three owners in its life, a father and son, and me. I purchased the car in 2008. I have never had an issue with the car in the four years I've owned it.
The following work has been done to the car. . ..
•New paint-2004 (cherry red). The paint job was fantastic and the paint is still in great shape. It has some minor chips due to average wear and tear and road driving, but this vehicle is offered in rolling restoration condition.
•The engine was rebuilt in 2006 and has about 10k on it since.
•New radio center console was added in 2006
•Roll bars were added for safety in 2006 (these can be removed).
•The electrical harness was replaced in 2007.
•The tires were replaced in 2008 and have about 7k miles on them.
•The car has a new interior that was installed in 2008.
•I purchased a new soft top for the car in 2009 and have not installed it yet. This is something that could be done prior to transfer if the buyer so wishes. The existing cover is in good condition, with normal wear and tear. The new cover is still in the box.
•Water pump was replaced in 2009.
•New shift knob was installed in 2009.
•Light switches were replaced in 2010.
•Fuse panel was replaced in 2010.
•New belt, coils, and hoses were installed in 2011.
•Headlights and trim were replaced in 2011
