1950 MG TD |
Spectacular 1950 MG TD formerly owned by Aeronautic Engineer from 1955 to 2006. Meticulously maintained and rebuilt multiple times during 50+ years of ownership to very near show quality. No detail was too small to escape the eye of this perfectionist. Newer heavy duty Moss StayFast Canvas Top, Tonneau, side curtains (windows) and rare center armrest. Over $46K in receipts back to 1994 with engine rebuild in 1995. Numbers matching on ID plate and engine.
This RHD (Right Hand Drive) car is easy to drive. Clipper Blue is an original factory color from 1949 to 1951 (documentation included).
This TD just appeared in the November, Octagon, the monthly MG newsletter and was the winner at the 2006 Redwood Tags meet in Santa Rosa, CA. beating out a number of other Ts. One TF in particular had a new $20K paint job. This has to be one of the finest examples of the marque in the U.S.A. if not the world....
