| I bought this car a few weeks ago. It has been in dry storage since 1959. The story I was told this MGTD was owned by a father and son. Their objective was to restore the car and some restoration work has been completed as seen on the pictures. The engine is free but not started as I did not get a key BUT I have one ordered on eBay and awaiting delivery. Since 1959 the father passed away and son is in a nursing home so the daughter sold the car to a friend of mine (dealer) who in turn sold to me. It is virtually rust free, solid wood, has side curtains and top but in need of completed restoration. The reason I am selling is that a few days after purchasing this car I found a fully restored 1952 MGTD at an excellent price. If I do not sell it this will become a restoration project for me in the near future (currently doing a frame up on a Triumph TR6).
