You are looking at a 1953 MG TD Convertible is in incredible condition. The previous owner purchased this car out of the Alamo Classic car Museum in 1999. Since then it has always been stored in a climate-controlled showroom. The previous owner has informed us that the car is in original condition with only some restoration work done “as needed”. We don’t know what has been done to the car due to us not having any receipts for work performed. We believe the motor has been rebuilt at sometime.

The paint is in excellent condition and is near show quality. There are no dings or scratches to be found anywhere on this body. The cloth side curtains and top are both in excellent condition with only minor wear to both. The car does come with a toneau cover also. The chrome is near perfect with no pitting to be found on the bumpers or headlights.

The vinyl seats are in great condition with only minor wear showing. There are no holes or tears to be found. The wood dash is very solid and looks fantastic. There are no scratches or imperfections to be found. All gauges are in good working order as are all lights and horn.

The engine runs great and starts right up with a pull of the starter button. The car has benefited from a new pair of SU carbs, new brakes all around and a new radiator. The engine is in clean condition and shows no signs of rust to the engine bay or elsewhere. The underbody is solid with no rot present. There is a full size spare on the back. The tires are wrapped with 5.60-15 tires that have plenty of tread life left on them.

On the road the car runs out nicely and shifts and brakes with ease. Always gets a thumbs up wherever she goes. The car is being sold on a mileage exempt title from the state of Missouri. The current mileage shows 67,794 and the VIN# is TD224774. This is a 50-year-old classic that can truly drive around the world or simply to Dairy Queen! GET OUT AND DRIVE!
