For sale is a 1953 MG TD located in our Indianapolis showroom. This fantastic MG went through a complete and thorough restoration of the highest level with extensive documentation of the build. With receipts totaling over $70K, this investment grade MG has to be one the best ones available on the market as you can see from the photos. Only 30,000 of these MG TD’s were produced in total, which ended production in 1953. This '53 TD is featured in the ever popular British Racing Green exterior paint, with the curves and appeal of a true 50’s roadster. Inside the car this TD is sporting a wood grain dashboard, very reminiscent of European cars of this era. The exquisite Tan leather interior adds a certain level of class to the already sleek body style. This particular car came equipped with a temperature and oil pressure gauges in the dashboard, this was true of the cars built purely for the American car owner. This 1953 MG TD is powered by its original 1250cc XPAG type inline 4 cylinder engine and is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission with only 190 miles on the restoration.
