This car is unrestored, matching numbers, 100% complete, and is the lowest original mile 220 cab B on the planet.
Hereís some history on it. I only have a timeline from 1963 on. It was purchased in 1963 by a Convertible Top Manufacturer. The company used the car for display purposes only, never drove or used the car.
Then in 1965, the car was purchased by Powell Motor Company. Powell kept the car in storage in a large building for 35 years.
My client bought the car from the estate of the deceased Mr. Powell in 2000. It had some 30-40k kilometers on the odometer at that time. Bob started to restore it, but, never finished. The car still wears the vinyl soft top that was installed by the convertible top shop in the 1960ís.
Bob began restoring the mechanicals last year. The engine was rebuilt by Metric in California. A new wiring harness was installed, and all the electrical components were refurbished and are in working order. The gas tank was cleaned out. Brakes, lines etc, all done. It has the rare optional spare tire mount on the boot. Basically it is a solid car. Not much use since 2000 as the engine was rebuilt. All original paint and leather interior. Chrome is in very good condition, as is the wood. The car runs and drives as it should. Everything works!
