1967 Mercedes Benz 250S - 1 Estate/owner 37,000 documented original miles books tags paperwork - Time Capsule
This car was found in a garage about 10 years ago - was driven a couple of summers 300-400 miles total and then went back into storage with the intent of having it redone completely. The last time this car was driven was about 4 years ago.
Its the kind of car you would find in a Mercedes Dealership if it were in mint condition because of all the paperwork and history avail with the car.
It was found out that this car was used primarily by a chauffeur. Interestingly enough the books and all the docs from the day it was sold are in the car - the most interesting document is a road map of all the US and European service centers in the 60's (Ive heard this is extremely valuable - it is in near prefect condition)
The car ran perfectly drove perfectly and air conditioning blew ice cold. mechanically needs nothing cosmetically needs attention.
Unfortunately when we had the car flatbed-ed from storage to the house the driver dinged up the driver side door - nothing major but the car was pretty much perfect except for some minor flaws. The upholstery is perfect which amazes me considering the age.

In perfect condition these car take many prizes across the world - sad to see it go but have too many classics.
Coolest part of this car is it has the original spare tire and tag with instructions on how to remove and install - see below.
