1971 Mercedes 280SE 3,5l Coupe

We are pleased to offer on behalf of one of our clients this stunning and very original Mercedes 280SE 3.5 Coupe.

These iconic Mercedes Coupes are equipped with a 200hp V8 engine and are a blast to drive. Mercedes legendary build quality is apparent in every aspect of these fantastic cars.

Our example on offer is a highly original car, which has had only 3 owners from new. The current owner bought the car in 2014 after it had been sitting in a collection for about 10 years. The car is fully sorted and mechanically excellent with only 48,800 original miles on it. All fuel lines have been replaced as a precautionary measure. It still has its original spark plug wires, the hydropneumatic compensator on the bottom (most 3.5 cars have theirs replaced with a spring) the original cocomats on the floor and the 3 hole fuel pump which is impossible to find.

The car was recently repainted to its original dark olive green (291H) and shows perfect. The cognac interior is in remarkable, original condition and makes for a stunning color combination. A true collectors dream with extremely low miles and full documentation from new.
