1971 Mercedes 280SL

Current owner has owned the car since 1997 and he his the third owner.

Complete restoration was done 5 years ago. Most, if not all components were replaced or restored at the time of restoration. $25,000.00 to $30,000.00 was spent on the restoration.

The hard top is in excellent condition including restored wood. The top was fully restored along with the vehicle.

Engine and transmission are original and were rebuilt at the time of restoration.

All gauges were restored by VDO.

Vehicle has been driven less than 7,500 miles since the restoration.

Original Becker radio is available but it is not currently mounted in the car. Installed in the car is a high end audio system with 3 amplifiers and 9 speakers.

Owner's manual, factory service manual, and original tools are included. Owner has some receipts and documentation.

Clock works perfectly.

Car has an new, modern after market air conditioner unit purchased from Buds Benz that was produced specifically for 280SLs.
