1957 Mercedes 300SL built into 300SLR |

The world's only original 300 SL of 1957, in 1987 rebuilt into 300 SLR with a handmade ALUMINIUM body regardless of costs. It has the original frame with Agregates as only the original sheet metal was removed and the SLR body was installed!
Only to make the wooden body needed 600 hours. Then to beat
the Aluminium body was 750 hours of time. ZF built a 5 speed
gearbox and Borrani made a special wheel. The mechanic
needed 1000 hours.
This DREAM-VEHICLE is the reconstructed winning vehicle of the Mille Miglia in 1955, with Stirling Moss ! The car has more engine horsepower and the drum brake is sport dimensioned! This absolute Collector item has a sporty ride and conveys through his unforgettable sound, driving indescribable feelings, like no other vehicle! The original 300 SLR is unfortunately not for sale and in the Stuttgart museum.
