Finding a 190SL whose fundamental structure, sheet metal and general fit and finish as originally constructed by Mercedes-Benz has become extremely difficult throughout the years. Delivered to Frenso in 1962, the vehicle spent most of its life stored away in the dry Central California town. Shortly after the original owner passed in 2009, a local vintage Mercedes expert purchased the vehicle to re-commission it for regular use. His work on the vehicle has been documented and includes:

� Fuel tank removed and sealed
� New radiator
� Refurbished brakes including master cylinder, wheel cylinders, etc.
� New clutch and shift bushings
� New starter motor
� New paint, in correct 534 red

The 85k miles showing is quite likely to be correct based on the documentation, history, and the car�s decades of slumber. The black vinyl interior is also quite likely original as is the rear carpet area. The front rubber matting was replaced with new materials as were a few other refinements.
