1929 -1973 Mercedes Gazelle |
1929 Mercedes Gazelle Replica built in the late 80's on a 73 ford pinto chassis. Has the Pinto 4cyl. engine, runs good, could use a little tuning, runs better after running a while. Brand New interior, Brand new custom carpet, New Kelly tires have 5 miles on them. Body Paint pretty good, the hood is faded, otherwise relatively shiny, still looks really nice. the Grill is shot, i just spray bombed it black and it doesn't look too bad, i did some touching up w/ chrome paint on the back bumpers and windshield frame. The engine runs good, may need a little tuning, may also need aligning, it is truly a fun car to drive. I have the regular top which is in really good shape, a tonneau type cover that the zipper just came apart on, top boot, and one of the side curtains (the top curtains don't make alot of sense to me anyways), I filled the tank up yesterday and learned that the fuel tank leaks slowly when more than about 1/2 full, i'm not interested in working on it anymore, otherwise i'd redo everything and sell it for 10k, i'm asking 5500, and will help arrange shipping. It's not perfect, but it's a darn cool car, everybody waves when i pass, it is a great parade car. Please email me for info.
