The Exterior Custom Paint Color that was chosen when newly purchased is called BIZANTINE GOLD
Brand New Black Leather Interior. Black and Gold Trim Mats, with the Mercedes Benz Logo accent the interior beautifully. The interior Zebrano woodwork has been completely refinished, and is absolutely gorgeous.
The Headliner is Original and in excellent condition, with no rips or stains. The original interior was in very good condition, but I saw a few age cracks starting to appear, so I decided that this car warranted a New Black Leather Interior installed.
The body of this car is RUST FREE and SOLID, and that includes the typical trunk area concerns of floors, fenders, doors, and quarter panels. The paint on a scale from 1-10 is a 9, and it is an older restoration, but very well cared for. The body is in excellent shape, and there is only one very small crease on the driver side rear quarter. This is a very minor flaw.
The Mercedes has a Factory Sun Roof that works perfectly, along with its original Becker AM-FM Stereo, and Power Antenna
As with all the 109 300 SELs this car comes with factory air suspension, which has been completely replaced with New air bellows and front and rear leveling valves. The exhaust system has been replaced as well. The air conditioning needs a charge, and will be done by the time the car is picked up.
The Suspension rises and falls as it should, and stays up continually. The Engine is a 4.5 V8 Fuel Injected which runs beautifully and is highly detailed.
There are 4 Brand New Michelin Tires on 4 reconditioned alloyed Bundt Wheels. The car came with 4 factory chrome hub caps and they will be included in the sale of the car. The Mercedes has its Original Tool Kit. All the chrome has been either replaced new, or re-plated, as well as the polished aluminum trim.
