1978  Mercury  Cougar  XR7
This is a great Cougar XR7. Older restoration from 1989 - 1992. Original motor tranny and rear rebuilt in 1989. 351 Winsor with a few updates, edelbrock manifold,roller rockers and dual exhaust with no cats. Have all receipts and specs.

Interior is near mint with just a small tear in headliner, about an inch. And driver armrest is worn. Excellent seats, dash and carpet. Exterior is showing some wear but nothing major a few spots.

Over the years including recently hoses, belts, shocks, springs and air conditioning hoses were replaced, air is not charged. This beautiful car has only been driven 28,000 miles since 1992. With 128,000 total original miles on complete car. The paint is still in very good condition. I would say 7 out of 10. In October of 2005 this car was driven from Connecticut to South Carolina were it is now located. It ran flawlessly, drove like a Lincoln and ran like a Mustang with no problems and 23 miles highway.
