1972 Mercury Cougar XR7, it has a rebuilt 351 Cleveland H code 2V engine Sept 2010, with 1000 miles. New 2100 2 barrel Carburetor in May,2011. Everything on the engine is new, (AND I MEAN EVERYTHING) except, starter and power steering.
New radiator, new steering box, new inner and outer tie rods both sides, both upper ball joints, power steering hoses, almost new pipes and muffler. New door glass window felt both sides, back glass rubber and felt both sides. new windshield rubber.
Brakes all around and hardware, new shocks around, New transmission oil, filter and gasket.
No rust issues, floors are good no rust at all.
Trans shifts good no problems with it. Runs great, goes down the road straight. Alignment May 2011. The tires are like new, The spare has never been on the ground. There are 5 classic wheels that are in good condition.
There are no issues with this car I have replaced almost everything and repaired what was not replaced.
I have every single receipt for what I spent on this car. There is a 3 year warranty on this engine. It was rebuilt in Sept 2010.
I have the complete 5 volume 1972 shop service manual on CD, that covers everything from Chassis to per-delivery, maintenance and lubrication that you get with the car. This manual covers how to on every part of the car. Have owners glove box booklet and also the "Chilton's Repair & Tune-Up Guide For Ford Mercury Lincoln Mid-Size 1971-1985.
Things the Cougar could use, front bucket seat could use recovering, The back seat is good no rips, good condition.
This car drives good looks good real head turner.
