NASCAR 1968 Mercury Cyclone GT Fastback. All original and correct/matching numbers.
302 four barrel V8/auto with correct Ford Paxton Supercharger set up. $8500 for the Mercury--add $3800 for the Ford Racing Paxton SC. Same rarity as the 200 mph 1969-70 Ford Talladegas/Cyclone Spoiler/Winged Mopars--but this one came first! Ford Racing used a production line change (raising the lowered rolled edge of the body on production Cyclone GT's) which allowed the NASCAR racers to run lower to the track. Stored since 1982 and the tarp covering it ruined the paint on the hood and front fenders. Very solid, easy restoration--Southern Car--never seen road salt.
