1971 Mercury Monterey Custom 4- DR Hardtop Sedan, Light Pewter Metallic, 400 CID 2-bbl, A/C, speed control, tilt wheel, power seat, power front disc brakes, AM radio with dual rear sear speakers, and power antenna. Odometer reads 57,454 miles. Car has been in the family since purchased new on 3/26/1971. Garaged in Kerville, Texas until brought to Ohio in 1973 with just over 30,000 miles and always garaged there. Repair invoice (wheel alignment) dated 11/29/1991 shows odometer reading then as 57,396. Little driven since then, last licensed in 1995. Vehicle has been sitting in garage on tires with 1/2 tank of gas and no change of fluids. Tires pressure maintained, but battery removed and not started. Vehicle is missing RF parking light/turn signal assembly. Leaking transmission fluid (believed failed pan gasket). Non-use attributed to ownership of newer, more fuel efficient cars and unrestricted use of a company car. Have following items which go with car: Original owners manual; 5-volume 1971 Ford Car Shop Manual with 1971 Mercury wiring diagram; new water pump, air filter, oil filter, automatic transmission filter change kit, set of sparkplugs, distributor rotor, condenser and contact points set; original window specifications label and original sale dealer invoice.
