1951 Mercury Two Door Sedan For Sale. This slick street rod has had significant custom work done to it, the body has been nosed and decked the door handles have been shaved and louvers have been added to the hood for starters. Out front is a 1951 Desoto grill, out back taillights have been custom frenched into the fenders. The car has been painted in 1964 Corvette Midnight Blue and looks great on this curvy body. Pushing this sled down the road is 283CID Chevy V-8 that has been dressed up with chrome valve covers and air cleaner. The engine breaths out though chrome lake pipes that run along either side and have a great sound. The doors are opened with electric popper s with buttons under the dash inside and behind the rear window outside; they also have a hidden key operated cut out for security. The interior holds seats from a Cadillac that are covered in grey cloth upholstery. Under the factory dash are controls for the power seats and door poppers. Other options include AM/FM cassette radio, power seats, keyless entry, cloth interior and wide white wall tires. These Mercs are getting harder to come by every year.
