1965 Morris Mini Cooper
Forget the new BMW Mini. Kick it old school in this unique Morris Mini Cooper Panel Van. Previous owner was the renowned designer Geoffrey Beene. It is left hand drive. It has a 1275cc motor with twin carbs, front disc brakes and the 4 speed manual transmission. These engine upgrades and better brakes set the Mini Cooper apart from its less sporty brethren. Back in the day these cars would whoop Porsche 911’s with great regularity.
The van configuration makes this little car incredibly versatile. Minis have always been deceptive. The outside appears so very small, but the inside seems so very large. I’m 6’3” and fit in it just dandy. In the rear there is plenty of room for just about anything. The possibilities are endless. Pizza delivery truck, surf mobile, or for those who watch too much Monster Garage - it could make it the baddest little hearse ever.
Own this truly unique vehicle!
Vehicle is very sound mechanically and structurally. While not a show car it is very good shape. Real quick and real fun. Runs great.
