1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible F-85 For Sale.
This is a RARE A/C optioned car from North Carolina with bucket seats. Painted years ago in it's original popular Holiday "Bermuda Blue" with matching light metallic blue interior.
This '64 Cutlass F-85 Convertible has a white top, newer style 14 inch Olds Super Stock 2 Wheels with wide radial tires and Spinner Wire Wheel Hubcaps over the SS2 rims.
The original Cutlass AM radio is in the dash. I have a spare shifter assembly with the correct "T" handle on top & a spare console as well as many other parts. The front end was completely taken down to the frame and all new ball joints, tie rods, springs etc were installed. Since the rebuild, the master cylinder & booster were changed back to the original single chamber design.
The 330 C.I. V-8 "Rocket" engine now has about 50,000 miles since complete rebuild with .030 over 10:25 to 1 compression pistons, chrome moly rings, hardened valve seats, hardened crankshaft & rod bolts, 442 version high lift cam from Supercars Unlimited which is an exact grind of the '64 original. All the internal components were balanced. This engine runs super smooth & makes loads of power.
The transmission was also completely rebuilt & has had the "variable vane" torque converter replaced with a standard style converter, but I have a NEW Variable vane converter in the box to restore the trans back to original. This convertible has a SOLID frame & needs seat covers to be replaced and the heater core needs to be replaced. This is a super car to cruise in & brings smiles everywhere it goes.
There are a TON of extra parts included like a complete rear clip from another Arizona sedan for trunk floor panel (which should be replaced down the road) Also included are a front hood, rear trunk lid, bumpers, A/C parts, spare rear end, many RARE Pot-metal chrome pieces for interior & exterior. Also included are complete power window set up with wiring, switches, spare wood style (rare option) steering wheels, etc. There is a Rust Free California Hard Top Parts Car included as well. This a rolling chassis without drive train with perfect rear quarters, good doors, fenders & glass. Everything you'd need to make this car as new.
This car is very solid, worthy of restoration, plus the huge amount of parts worth as much as the asking price for the car included make it a true value to seriously consider as an investment to enjoy.
Parts are very hard to find for this Classic Convertible that's almost 50 years old. It is well worth restoration and will be a fun cruiser when done. Currently it is and has been in a dry garage for years. Also included are many factory ads & factory repair manuals to help with any aspect of this convertible's restoration.
Not many 1964 F-85 Cutlass Convertibles are left. Fewer have A/C. Don't miss an opportunity to own a classic Oldsmobile Convertible for just $7995.
