1949 Packard Deluxe Touring Sedan

1949 Packard Deluxe Touring Sedan for sale. 288 engine, 3 speed column shift with Overdrive. Odometer shows just over 40,000 miles. Radio works! Clock does not.This car took 2nd Place for Original up to 1959 at Canal Days,2015 in Port Colborne, Ontario. Canada.
Since 2012, the following has been done.

Overdrive made functional.
Parking brake handle repaired and made functional.
Front shocks rebuilt.
Carburetor rebuilt.
Master brake cylinder rebuilt.
New front wheel cylinders and hoses, and front shoes relined. (rear cylinders purchased, but not installed)
This is a 6 volt car. A previous owner installed a 12 volt generator. This has been removed and a 60 amp, 6 volt positive ground alternator that looks like a generator has been installed.
Vacuum advance replaced.
Intake/exhaust manifold replaced (old one was broken and poorly repaired.)
New exhaust pipes.
Correct breather found and installed.
Damaged axle replaced. Found complete rear end from a non-overdrive car that had 3.9
gearing in it. Changed out 4.1 gears for 3.9. Much better on the highway. Modern seals installed at change over.
Door panels and rear parcel shelf recovered.
Correct fog light switch found and installed as per factory wiring. Turning on the fog lights also lights up rear tail lights and license plate light.
Fan switch found and replaced. (old one was broken)
Heater valve repaired and heater made functional.
Engine and radiator flushed.
New water pump.
Door locks replaced (NOS), and keys made for trunk and glove box locks.
New rubber bumpers for hood installed.
