History – Car was born at the St. Louis MO plant as a 383 big block, 3-speed automatic car. It was later converted to a 413 street wedge, 4-speed car. The car spent the majority of its life in the Atlanta area when I purchased it in 2014 and transported to our home in Los Angeles. The car then made a cross-country move with us to NJ last year (enclosed trailer of course). Having spent most of its life in a warm weather climate, it has all original floor pans, trunk pans, and sheet metal with the exception of one quarter panel.
Restoration 2014 - Work included all new Legendary interior and headliner, rebuilt transmission, new carb, motor pulled, stripped down to freeze plugs, inspected, reassembled, and painted, bead blasted all aluminum parts, re-brushed alternator, ceramic dipped headers, detailed engine bay, power front disc brakes and rear cylinders installed, undercoating applied and suspension/gas tank/driveshaft sprayed black, all new exhaust including electric cutouts, high volume oil pump, all new hoses, belts, battery, shocks, ball joints, u-joints, and bushings, all bright-work polished. New tires added this spring.
